Together, we have now identified AI potential and initiated essential first steps for implementation.

Task
The Upper Austrian Economic Chamber (WKOÖ) is a modern service and information organization that supports its members in a variety of matters. To be optimally positioned in the future in terms of process efficiency and information management, the WKOÖ, in collaboration with Netural, conducted an AI potential analysis as part of the AI Challenging Program.
Challenge
In Phase 1 of the AI Challenging Program, central challenges within the various departments of the WKOÖ were identified and examined for their solution potential through the use of artificial intelligence. The goal was to derive concrete project ideas with measurable added value and realistic implementation opportunities. The underlying conditions were also considered.
One of the biggest challenges in identifying relevant use cases was the systematic involvement of relevant departments and stakeholders. It was important to create space for different perspectives, make diverse needs visible, and jointly develop a prioritized picture. The structured approach within the AI Challenging Framework provided the optimal framework for this.
The holistic approach and in-depth analysis helped us and our employees develop an actionable AI roadmap for ongoing and future projects, which we can now bring to life step by step.

Solution
Thanks to the structured approach, the WKOÖ was able to develop a clear strategic roadmap for future AI initiatives, thereby creating a well-founded basis for concrete next steps. A total of 66 AI potentials were identified and can be classified into different categories: knowledge management, data and text analysis, process automation, and content creation.
The active involvement of employees was ensured through internal questionnaires and one workshop per department. This approach was important for several reasons:
To include as many perspectives and experiences as possible.
To increase the acceptance of future solutions and counteract resistance.
To create transparency and promote the transfer of AI knowledge.
The evaluation and prioritization of the AI potentials were carried out using a specially developed matrix based on benefit and feasibility. Many exciting use cases were concretized and are now entering the next development phase. Implementation will take place in close cooperation between WKOÖ and Netural.
Conclusion
Netural's AI Challenging Program has impressively demonstrated how innovation potential in the field of artificial intelligence can be identified, concretized, and transformed into project proposals.
The successful identification of 66 AI potentials, the development of future-oriented AI vision themes, and the resulting proof-of-concept proposals form a strong foundation for the continued cooperation between Netural and the WKOÖ.
