Amid disruptive digital technologies, such as generative AI and mixed reality, we must re-examine truth and relativity.
Does AI make us smarter or dumber? What opportunities and risks does it present? How do we navigate the rapid pace of its proliferation? These were some of the thought-provoking questions we explored with our high-profile panelists on September 8th:
Dr. Heidi Kastner – renowned forensic psychiatrist and author
Dr. Dr. Bruno Buchberger – computer science pioneer, professor emeritus at the Johannes Kepler University, and founder of the Softwarepark and the Hagenberg University of Applied Sciences
Mag. Albert Ortig – entrepreneur, CEO and founder of Netural
At the heart of our panel discussion was a single, compelling question: “Quo vadis – what is AI doing to us and our society?” It was a topic that resonated deeply, and we all would have gladly listened longer as our distinguished guests explored it from their unique perspectives. We were not alone in our engagement – over 60 attentive participants followed the captivating conversation, skillfully moderated by Cornelia Lehner, and found inspiration in the range of insights and ideas shared.
To round off the evening, Netural offered exclusive guided tours of the Ars Electronica Festival, adding a unique experiential dimension to the event. So, in every aspect, it was a resounding success. We extend our heartfelt thanks to all participants for their curiosity, enthusiasm, and valuable contributions. We look forward to continuing the conversation at future events as we further explore the profound impact of AI on our lives and society.
