With its lately published sales app, Swarovski is in touch with the trend. In cooperation with Netural and SAP, a technologically ambitious iPad application with unique user experience was created.

In addition to printed product catalogs, Swarovski has introduced an innovative app which offers new possibilities for product presentations, giving leading international brands access to the world of Swarovski crystals.

The visually attractive presentation on the iPad gives views of all crystals in original colors and sizes. Additionally, there are 3D views of product variants. Smart filter categories create the conditions for arbitrary product combinations and are the key to quick operation. With a few touches one finds the desired product, saves it as a picture to share on the web or send to Swarovski as an inquiry. Fashion designers and collection managers will appreciate the included trend information and the related suggestions for material combinations. Additional mood-boards, created by the user, give impressions of crystals in combination with background colors and textile structures.

An innovative interface connects the app reliably with the SAP database of the Swarovski merchandise management. It provides users with latest information without facilitating unauthorized access to the system´s core. Information on more than 20.000 product variants make the life of sales representatives a great lot easier. They include not only general information about the collections, but also current availabilities. The well-arranged user interface of this information, presentation and sales tool hides an invisible complexity – the SAP merchandise management.

With this app, Swarovski leads the field towards a new evolution of sales: the iPad-app offers an up-to-date product presentation worthy of a global brand.

In cooperation with Netural, the company achieved a combination of inspiring elegance and technical sophistication which earned the Swarovski Crystal Collection App its first award month before publication. The SAP Innovation
Award was given at the SAP-Forum 2013, during which this mobile app for SAP-based information systems caused a considerable stir.

Both design and display quality of the iPad app live up to the aesthetic standard of the brand: „The Poetry of Precision“ is a pillar of Swarovski´s philosophy and also the guideline of the app design.
