The Austrian Furniture Industry Association unites an impressive and lively variety of members, covering the whole range from traditional solid wood furniture to exquisite design icons and on to affordable basics for everyone. Their one shared pride is quality made in Austria.
“Raw and delicate” is the Association´s current slogan, referring to Austria´s inspiring artistic and design heritage. The new web helps to carry this message, now highlighting furniture instead of just publishing a brand directory. The furniture is not sorted by brands any more, instead it can be filtered by products and categories for real inspiration.
The products are shown as Roomle 3-D visuals. The novel smart catalog does not simply show pictures of furniture, it enables user to place virtual furniture in real rooms by means of augmented reality. A link to the Roomle app gives access to interactive room planning capabilities. The close collaboration between Roomle, Netural and the Austrian Furniture Industry Association made for an exceptionally efficient website creation process, providing a successful industry alliance with an innovative online presentation of its quality products. Integrating Roomle, the Austrians ventured to territory which up to now no other national industry association had entered.
Netural´s spin-off Roomle set out in 2014 to become the „pocket furniture shop”, providing the first cloud-based platform for planning-driven interactive furniture shopping, both mobile and on the web. The main focus is on total user-friendliness and fundamental sales process simplification for both consumers and producers/retailers.
